- Abstract:The LIGO interferometers have reached design sensitivity over a broad
frequency range in the last year. The fifth LIGO science run is underway and
expected to produce one year of triple coincidence data. LIGO consists of three
kilometer scale interferometers located at two widely separated sites. I will
describe the performance of LIGO instruments and report on the status
of the ongoing LIGO science run.
