Museum Connections
- Adler Planetarium (http://www.adlerplanetarium.org/) - Visit the Adler Planetarium in Chicago to see a captivating display of neutrino capture events. This scale model of the AMANDA detector shows the time sequence and intensity of the light produced when charged particles pass through the ice at the South Pole.
- Exploratorium (http://www.exploratorium.edu) - The Exploratorium in San Francisco has a long history with AMANDA (http://www.exploratorium.edu/origins/antarctica/tools/amanda-main.html) and IceCube. For the International Polar Year (2007-2008) an IceCube engineer and winterover, Claire Pettersen, will participate as a polar reporter.
- UW Space Place (http://www.spaceplace.wisc.edu/) IceCube is prominently displayed at the UW Space Place, a community astronomy museum where you can see images from the South Pole and a digital optical module (DOM).
