Winter Over Positions (Recruitment for the 2010-2011 season will begin in February, 2010)

  • Winter-overs deploy to Antarctica continuously for 14 months, mid-October to mid-November. Individuals participate in a wide range of activities and must pass physical and psychological evaluations of their ability to live and work in remote and high altitude locations.
  • Degree requirements: M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field; B.S. with substantial related field experience will be considered.

  • South Pole Station Support: Infra-structure support at the South Pole Station is provided by the Raytheon Polar Services Company. Jobs for the Austral Summer (October-February) are generally posted the preceding January on their website. The RPSC Job Fair takes place in late March in Denver.
