UW - Madison: Physical Sciences Laboratory
PSL is a research and development laboratory that provides consulting, design, fabrication, and calibration services in scientific instrumentation. PSL has a highly trained staff in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and physics to address individual needs in specific areas or those requiring interdisciplinary skills. In addition to producing many unique instruments, PSL has developed semi-standardized lines for several common products. Each instrument is designed for individual needs and requirements, and benefits from the expertise and experience previously gained in making similar instruments. PSL is a University of Wisconsin-Madison service facility.
